Early Childhood
Washington State Washington Parenting Education Network (WAPEN) WAPEN's mission is to provide leadership and infrastructure to support Washington State
parenting educators in their work with families.
Nationwide Healthy Beginnings™ The Healthy Beginnings program is for early childhood professionals
who recognize the value of applying early brain research and caregiving strategies
to nurture social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young
children.(Prenatal-Age 5)
Social Beginnings® If your early childhood staff is dealing with tantrums, aggression, or disrespect
from young children, use the Social Beginnings program to teach them
a positive, effective response. (Ages 3-5)
Calming Ourselves in Stressful Moments™ Early childhood professionals use the Calming Ourselves in Stressful Moments™ program
to calm stressed children and themselves. (Ages 3-7)
Healthy Aging
Washington State Healthy Aging Partnership™ (HAP) HAP is a coalition of local agencies dedicated to the health and well-being of older adults in the Puget Sound region. HAP sponsors the 1-888-4ELDERS (1-888-435-3377) information line and the companion website, www.4elders.org.
Washington Alliance for Healthy Aging (WAHA) WAHA is a statewide coalition of professionals working to improve the health of older adults living in Washington state.
