    SEATTLE, WA (March 12, 2008) – Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.) announced that it has elected Ricardo Garcia to its Board of Directors. Garcia is the General Manager of Radio KDNA-FM in Granger, Washington, which is the only full-time educational Spanish-language public radio station in Washington State. A demonstrated leader with commitment to and passion for eliminating health inequities, Garcia brings significant expertise to the C.H.E.F. Board.

    SEATTLE, WA (March 11, 2008) – MissionWise®, the consulting division of Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.®) that helps health and human service organizations become stronger and more sustainable in their efforts to eliminate health inequities, will lead a public policy workshop at the Ninth Annual Social Enterprise Summit 2008 to be held today in Boston, Massachusetts.     SEATTLE, WA (February 15, 2005) –Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.®), one of the nation's leaders in health and prevention education, announced today that Julie Peterson, Senior Director of Public Affairs and Policy, received the first Advocate of the Year award from the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA®). Presented at the CADCA National Leadership Forum XV in Washington, D.C., the award was created by CADCA's Public Policy department to honor coalition leaders who have consistently strived to ensure legislative victories for the substance abuse prevention field. Two other individuals selected to receive the CADCA Advocate of the Year award were Cynthia Timmons from Oklahoma and Alice Murphy from Alabama.
