Our Focus is on Reducing and Eliminating Health Inequities
According to The National Institutes of Health (NIH), people with low incomes and people of color across our country generally suffer higher rates of illness, disease, disability and early death. We believe this is one of our nations’ most critical and pressing health issues.
We Envision A World Where All People Have An Equal Opportunity for Health
At Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.®), we believe that all people deserve an equal opportunity for health. That’s why we’re committed to advancing the health and well-being of people who are most affected by health inequities.
How We’re Creating Healthy Opportunities for People Affected by Health Inequities
With a long history of bringing better health to individuals and communities, our efforts today in eliminating health inequities are being addressed through a powerful combination of advocacy, education, grant-making, partnerships, and consulting.
We’re assisting organizations in becoming more effective advocates for change; and we’re providing consulting to help organizations build their capacity to better deliver services and become more sustainable.
In short we’re bringing together foundations, government, nonprofits, and coalitions to create a social movement to eliminate health inequities.
